Iginia Valentina Boccalandro has a BS in Liberal Arts, post graduate studies in Religious Education, specialization and Certification in Rolfing ¬ģ Structural Integration therapy, she is certified as an Ayurvedic practitioner, Ayur Yoga instructor with Dr. Vasant Lad of the Ayurvedic Institute.

Iginia is a graduate of Permaculture Design Course. She is the founder of the Carbon Economy Series, a non-profit, dedicated to teaching sustainable workshops and practices on college campuses. As a former National Team athlete, she has competed in two Olympic games.

She is a founding member of the Fat Pig Society (FPS) a vertically integrated workers cooperative, committed to best practices in growing hemp and using regenerative agriculture to build soil. FPS is dedicated to providing CBD for the lowest price and to the largest amount of people possible.¬† They have a full line of CBD products using their own genetics of USDA Organic certified hemp. The coop is also a nursery that supplies clones for other organic farmers and for the third year is doing research on genomic selection of chemovars that are high in CBD and low in THC. Iginia sees the cooperative as a ‚Äúthink tank‚ÄĚ that finds crops that will give farmers a greater income while restoring soil, saving small family farms and rewarding organic farmers for their commitment to a more sustainable planet.
