Martín Collazo | Uruguay
Monitor Cannabis is an interdisciplinary research team for the evaluation and control of cannabis regulation policies in Uruguay from the Social Sciences Department of the UDELAR. We develop lines of research of the tree legal ways of access for adults, including recognizable results and the state of public opinion, and also of the regulation of the access to cannabis with medicinal ends, rapidly growing inside the country. Through monitorcannabis.uy, we hope to divulge a diversity of research and to favor the exchange of relevant information about regulation among national, regional and global actors.
Representing Monitor Cannabis, Martín Collazo will give a conference:
The Situation of Marijuana Regulation in Uruguay
It’s a synthesis of information about the partial implementation of legal access to cannabis and the evaluation of the emerging results, whose analysis is possible or is still not pertinent. Additionally, it presents the information gathered by the exploratory poll of medicinal cannabis users made during Expocannabis 2016. Monitor Cannabis will also use the opportunity provided by this great event to continue gathering information which will collaborate with a bigger understanding of this regulation process of the plant Cannabis Sativa.
